Both Combos include one four-slot feeder, but the printers and feeders differ. The A1 mini prints 180 × 180 × 180 mm on an open frame with an 80°C bed; the P1S prints 256 × 256 × 256 mm inside an enclosure with a 100°C bed. AMS lite is an open feeder with no active drying; the original AMS's drying capability is unverified, and both exclude soft TPU and damp PVA. Neither package includes a hardened nozzle.

Package and specification details
Match the print size and enclosure to your parts
The A1 mini lists 180 × 180 × 180 mm of print space; the P1S lists 256 × 256 × 256 mm, which is 76 mm more on every axis. The A1 mini is an open printer with no chamber, while the P1S has an enclosure and a chamber-regulating fan; a separate chamber heater has not been verified for the P1S. Bed limits are 80°C and 100°C. Check the full sliced job, not only the nominal volume.

Read each feeder's restrictions before counting on four colors
The A1 mini Combo includes one AMS lite with four spool positions, a stand and spool holders; it is an open feeder, not an active dryer, and Bambu's quick start says to avoid TPU, TPE, moisture-softened PVA and overly stiff or brittle reinforced filaments in it. The P1S Combo includes one original AMS whose quick start excludes soft TPU and damp PVA; its drying capability is not verified. Both printers can still print those materials from an external spool where the printer supports them.

Keep the package identity and nozzle expectations exact
The P1S Combo reviewed here is the original AMS Combo; the AMS 2 Pro hub and buffer offers are distinct packages. The A1 mini store evidence is indexed rather than a fresh live selection, and its external dimensions exclude the moving-bed operating envelope. Both printers ship a 0.4 mm stainless steel nozzle with a 300°C limit; that does not make either printer ready for abrasive filaments without a hardened nozzle.

Does the P1S Combo include the AMS 2 Pro?
No. The reviewed P1S Combo / Standard selection includes one original AMS. AMS 2 Pro upgrade and Combo offers use different hub and buffer packages and are separate purchases.

How the printing area is heated
How the air around the print stays warm. A cabinet may hold heat from the print bed, use a separate heater, or control airflow with fans and vents.
