Using CompareFoundry
CompareFoundry is a free reference for comparing product specifications and purchase packages. It covers selected US offers across the categories listed on our about page. These terms explain what the service provides and what to check before relying on a comparison.
Check the offer before buying
Confirm the exact model, generation, package and included equipment on the seller's website. Check the current price, stock, delivery, return and warranty terms there. Any purchase is with the seller. Sellers and manufacturers handle their own products, orders, support and warranties.
Read the manufacturer's current instructions for the exact product and accessories. Electrical limits, compatible drives or materials, installation requirements and operating clearance depend on the model and setup. A specification alone does not establish suitability for every task.
What the comparisons establish
Our entries record source statements and explain their differences. Manufacturer specifications are not independent performance tests. We have not independently tested product performance, noise, long-term reliability or running costs. Read the source dates, evidence notes and unresolved conditions with each field.
Information can contain errors or become outdated. We correct supported errors, but cannot guarantee that every record reflects the seller's current offer. Verify any detail that affects your purchase with the seller or manufacturer.
Free comparisons and shared links
You can compare up to five distinct purchase options within one category for free, without an account or payment. A shared link exposes the option IDs and filters in its URL to anyone who receives it. It loads the current published catalogue, so its facts can change after a correction or update. Do not put personal information in a comparison URL.
Review accounts and your contributions
Review accounts are for people aged 18 or older. You must control the email address you use and confirm that you meet the age requirement. We do not ask for your date of birth. Email verification confirms access to an inbox; it does not verify a purchase or establish that each account represents a different person.
Submit only an honest account of your first-hand experience with the identified product. Follow the Review policy, including its relationship-disclosure and content rules. New reviews and changes are checked before publication. When you edit a published review, its previously approved version remains visible while it remains eligible, until a replacement is approved or you withdraw the review.
You keep ownership of your review text. By submitting it, you give CompareFoundry permission to store it, display the approved version with your chosen alias and review details, and use it to operate the review and moderation service. This permission covers necessary service providers acting for us; it does not authorize selling your text as a review feed. Public display ends when the review is withdrawn or removed. Private retention follows our privacy policy.
We explain moderation decisions in your account. You can appeal an eligible rejection or removal through the account appeal route, or contact support about another challenge or lost account access. These routes do not limit any other rights or remedies you may have under applicable law.
During the initial owner-operated pilot, new account registrations and review submissions may be paused when moderation capacity is unavailable. Existing account access, privacy requests and the support route remain available. We do not promise a fixed publication time or continuous intake of new contributions.
Responsible use
Do not use the website to interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access or send abusive or unlawful material. Product names and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Their appearance here does not imply sponsorship or endorsement.
