Read the capacity figures on their stated basis
Levoit states 25 pints/day at 65°F and 60% RH under DOE 2019 conditions, and ENERGY STAR lists 24.54. The reviewed Frigidaire sources give 22 pints/day without complete test conditions. These figures are close, but they are not a field test, and the Levoit 84-pint figure at 104°F and 95% RH is a different condition.
If water must be pumped up or away from a floor drain, Levoit's box list includes a pre-installed pump and pump hose. Frigidaire's specification sheet explicitly lists no pump, leaving the bucket or a continuous gravity drain. Check hose routing and the manual's limits before relying on either for unattended use.
Frigidaire's sheet lists a 1.7 US gal bucket, 33 lb weight, body dimensions and low/high sound levels without a measurement distance. Levoit's page gives none of tank size, weight or dimensions, and only an 'as low as 42 dB' claim. Missing Levoit figures remain unknown, not smaller or quieter.
