EcoFlow RIVER 3 Plus vs Anker SOLIX C300 (AC version)
Compare two compact stations of about 288 Wh: 600 W versus 300 W of normal AC output and 220 W versus 100 W solar input. Expansion support and what each US box includes are covered.
The decision in brief
How the options differ
RIVER 3 Plus stores 286 Wh and supplies 600 W of normal AC output; C300 AC stores 288 Wh and supplies 300 W. RIVER 3 Plus accepts up to 220 W of solar input and supports one RIVER 3 Plus extra battery; C300 AC accepts 100 W and its expansion support is not established. Listed weights are 4.7 kg and 4.13 kg. Capacity is nearly identical, so the devices you plan to power decide this comparison.

The buying guide
Package and specification details
Start with the output limit, because the capacities match
RIVER 3 Plus lists 600 W of normal AC output, with 1200 W X-Boost as a separate mode with device restrictions. C300 AC lists 300 W, with a 600 W SurgePad allowance that is also a separate mode with restrictions for voltage-sensitive devices. Both supply 120 V, 60 Hz. A device that needs more than 300 W of running power rules out the C300 AC before capacity matters.

Check the solar and expansion options you may add later
RIVER 3 Plus accepts up to 220 W of solar within 11–55 V and 13 A, and the US store names the EB300 (286 Wh) and EB600 (572 Wh) extra batteries for up to 858 Wh in total. C300 AC accepts up to 100 W within 11–28 V and 8.2 A, and a supported expansion battery is not established by the US page or A1722 manual. Panels, cables and extra batteries are separate purchases for both.

Match the model identity and box contents
The 286 Wh RIVER 3 Plus is model EF-RV-H02-1; RIVER 3 Plus (270) and RIVER 3 Plus Wireless are different models. The C300 with AC outlets is the A1722; the C300 DC is a different product with a different weight. RIVER 3 Plus includes an AC charging cable and a communication cable; C300 AC includes an AC charging cable, with solar and car cables sold separately. Common questions
Which one has the better cycle-life claim?
EcoFlow specifies 3000 cycles with at least 80% state of health for RIVER 3 Plus at 0.5C and 25°C. For the US C300 AC, the cited sources do not establish a numerical cycle count with a retained-capacity endpoint, so no comparison is possible. Unknown is not a lower rating.
