A considered comparison

Anker SOLIX C1000 Gen 2 vs BLUETTI Elite 100 V2

Two 1024 Wh LFP stations: compare normal AC output, solar input limits, expansion support and the exact standalone US packages.

The decision in brief

How the options differ

Both standalone units store 1024 Wh. C1000 Gen 2 lists 2000 W of normal AC output and a 600 W solar limit; Elite 100 V2 lists 1800 W and a 1000 W solar limit. Anker states that C1000 Gen 2 does not accept an expansion battery, while expansion support for the standalone Elite 100 V2 is not established. Listed weights are 11.3 kg and 11.5 kg. Neither rating establishes runtime for a particular appliance.

The buying guide

Package and specification details

Separate normal AC output from peak modes

C1000 Gen 2 lists 2000 W of normal AC output; its 3000 W peak rating is not used here. Elite 100 V2 lists 1800 W; its 2700 W Power Lifting mode is a separate mode. Both output 120 V for the US market. List the devices you will run together and compare their combined running power with these normal ratings, not with the peak figures.

Read the solar input window, not only the watt limit

C1000 Gen 2 accepts up to 600 W of solar input with a 60 V maximum. Elite 100 V2 accepts up to 1000 W within a 12–60 V range and a 20 A maximum. A panel must fit the voltage and current window as well as the watt limit; check the panel's open-circuit voltage and the required cable before assuming the larger number applies to your panels.

Confirm expansion and the exact package before adding accessories

Anker explicitly states that C1000 Gen 2 does not support an expansion battery, unlike the original 1056 Wh C1000. For the standard Elite 100 V2, direct expansion-battery support is not established by the reviewed specifications; the separate Charger 2, B300K and DC Hub bundle is a different purchase. Both reviewed packages are the standalone unit with an AC charging cable; BLUETTI's page also lists a solar charging cable, so confirm the final box contents.

Common questions

Do both stations claim the same cycle life?

Both claim 4000 cycles to 80% capacity, and both identify LFP (LiFePO4) cells. These are manufacturer claims under their own conditions, not independent lifespan tests, and they do not state a warranty duration.
