Compare feeder capacity and screen size
The ADS-4700W feeder is rated for 80 sheets and the ADS-3350W for 60, both on 20 lb paper and not a guarantee for mixed originals. The 4700W has a 4.3-inch touchscreen and the 3350W a 2.8-inch one. If you regularly scan thick batches or want more on-device workflow space, these two differences are the main reasons to step up.
Both are rated up to 40 ppm for Letter at 300 dpi with advanced features off. The ADS-4700W additionally claims 80 ipm duplex. The ADS-3350W's duplex table says 40 ipm, and its general wording does not justify publishing an inferred 80 ipm. Neither is a measured OCR or network throughput figure.
Both document USB 3.0, Wi-Fi and wired Ethernet, plus a USB-memory destination and selected network or server destinations that need their own accounts and setup. Both list TWAIN, WIA and SANE; the ADS-4700W also lists ISIS. Memory sticks, network setup and cloud accounts are not supplied hardware for either model.
Is the ADS-3350W the same as the ADS-3340W mentioned on its page?
The selected SKU, heading and packing list identify ADS-3350W; one prose sentence on the storefront says ADS-3340W. Keep the ADS-3350W identity and do not transfer facts to the other model name.
