Front camera video The highest documented front resolution and frame rate, with the other front settings the manufacturer lists. Resolution and frame rate are manufacturer settings, not measured sharpness. HDR, night modes and high frame rates can be mutually exclusive. The rear or cabin channel often records at a lower resolution than the front, and some settings change when another camera is connected. Image sensors The sensor model, size or resolution the manufacturer names for each camera. A sensor name describes hardware, not tested night or plate-reading results. Lens angle The stated field of view for each camera, with the measurement direction where the manufacturer gives it. Diagonal, horizontal and unspecified angles are not directly comparable. GPS supplied Whether the selected package supplies a GPS receiver, built into the camera or into the supplied mount, as recorded in the note. A GPS module or mount sold separately does not count. GPS adds location and speed data to recordings; it is not a navigation feature. Parking-mode power requirement The power connection the manufacturer requires for parked recording, and its own installation recommendation. Hardwire kits, OBD cables and battery packs are different routes. Follow the manufacturer and a qualified installer; this catalogue gives no wiring advice. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and app The documented Wi-Fi bands, Bluetooth and the app used to view and download recordings. Local Wi-Fi transfer between camera and phone is different from remote access, which usually needs LTE or a cloud plan. VIOFO's own tables differ on the hardwire kit (HK4 only, or HK4 or HK6), and only HK6 enables cut-off voltage; confirm the kit for the parking mode you want.
