Compare sensing hardware, not avoidance results
Saros 10R uses solid-state 3D ToF navigation with an RGB camera and lateral VertiBeam sensing, with no LiDAR turret, which is how it reaches a 3.14-inch body. Roomba Combo 10 Max navigates by camera and detection sensors at 3.4 inches tall. Neither description establishes how either robot handles a cable or pet mess in your home.
Saros 10R carries dual rotating pads with a stated 17 mm lift and automatic mop-mount detaching, and its FAQ claims thresholds up to 4 cm with the lifting chassis. Roomba Combo 10 Max uses a single microfiber pad that retracts to the top of the robot, and its page publishes no threshold figure. Both docks wash and dry the mop; only Roborock states a wash temperature and drying durations.
The Saros 10R manual and page state that only 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi is supported. The Roomba page does not state a Wi-Fi band but sets Apple Home conditions: iOS 18.4 or iPadOS 18.4 or later for pairing and a home hub for automations and remote access. Both need the maker's app; neither page documents a required subscription.
Roborock's US page names HyperForce suction without a Pa number, and iRobot publishes none. A missing figure is recorded as unknown, not as weak suction; a published Pa figure would not be a cleaning result either.
