Before you choose.

What does the computer port support?

Identify the actual host protocol, GPU and operating system. Similar sockets can expose different video, data and charging capabilities.

How are the displays driven?

Native display streams and DisplayLink software are different paths. Multiple sockets can be alternatives for the same display rather than additional independent screens.

Which power figure applies to the laptop?

Power-supply wattage, host charging and downstream-device power are separate ratings. Check the exact revision and the power negotiated by the host.
