Before you choose.

Does the stated pool size cover your pool?

Makers state a maximum pool length, a pool floor area or both, and the same robot can carry different figures on different pages. Compare your own measurement with the claim for the exact product number.

Which surfaces must it clean?

Floor, walls, waterline and water surface are separate claims. A robot listed for floor and walls does not scrub the waterline, and in-ground or above-ground suitability is what the maker states for that model.

Cable or battery?

A corded robot needs a power supply on the deck and a cable long enough to reach the far end, ideally with a swivel. A cordless robot needs charging, and its run time depends on the mode, with battery capacity often unpublished.
