Community opinions, external customer evidence and independent editorial references are separate sections. They are different kinds of evidence and do not form a combined score.
The community score is the arithmetic mean of the current published ratings for one model, on a scale of one to five. Each account has at most one current published contribution per model. Pending, rejected and withdrawn versions do not count.
Purchase packages for the same model share its community score. Package context describes the author’s experience; it does not create a separate score or a second contribution.
No published reviews means no community rating. A temporary failure is shown as unavailable, not as zero reviews or a negative score.
The default order uses the first publication date, newest first. You can choose other available orders and filter by stars, original language or disclosed relationship. An edit does not make an old review new.
External evidence keeps the source’s own rating scale, count label, product scope and retrieval date. A family-level score is labelled as such. It is not treated as an exact-model rating in comparisons.
An unknown count remains unknown. We do not add counts from different sources into a claimed unique total when overlap is unknown. Retrieval time does not establish when the source last updated its evidence.
External review text appears only when the source permissions cover its display. Source verification or disclosure labels describe that provider’s claims. A public link alone is not permission to copy a review.
Editorial references link to the named publisher and describe what the source covers. A link is not a claim that CompareFoundry tested the product, and an editorial reference does not contribute to the community score.
